1. What we collect
To provide the Service we collect: your phone number, the address you book the cleaning at, the services and quantities booked, an anonymous device identifier, and (optionally) your name and email address if you save them in Settings.
2. How we use it
We use your data to schedule and deliver the cleaning, to contact you about your booking, to send a booking confirmation email if you provided one, and to operate and improve the Service.
3. Sharing
We share data with: (a) the cleaner assigned to your booking, limited to what they need to perform the service (notably the address); (b) infrastructure providers (database hosting, email delivery) acting on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Photo & video evidence
For quality assurance and dispute resolution, the cleaner may take before/after photographs of the cleaned items (sofa, armchair, mattress, etc.). These images are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted. The cleaner photographs the item and treated areas specifically, not the rest of your home or personal belongings. You may object before the cleaning starts; in case of a later dispute this may make resolution harder.
5. Entering your home & surroundings
The cleaning takes place at your location. The cleaner enters only the areas needed for the service and will incidentally see parts of your home. No cabinets, drawers or personal items are searched or photographed.
6. Retention
Order records are retained for up to 24 months to support refunds, disputes and accounting. You can request deletion at any time using the contact below; some data may be retained where required by law.
7. Your rights
Under the EU GDPR you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights contact info@homegrime.de. You also have the right to complain to a competent supervisory authority.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and standard access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure; please contact us immediately if you suspect a security issue.
9. Cookies / local storage
Our mobile app stores small amounts of data on your device (your saved name, phone, email) so the app can pre-fill forms. This data never leaves your device unless you place a booking that uses it.
On the website we use one cookie to remember your language choice (DE/EN). It is strictly necessary and contains no personal data.
